Half Life 2

It is finally here.


Early reports seem to indicate it is bigger than Doom 3. My dilemma is, do I buy now or beg for it as a Christmas present? The list-keeper already figures I spend too much time playing games so I can only imagine her reaction to my asking for a game that promises to make me disappear for a couple of weeks. And that's not including the "mods" that come with it. And if I wait, and I don't get it for Christmas due to the supreme veto power of the list-keeper, then I will be very disappointed and bummed. Scrooge will seem like a jolly old elf in comparison to my mood. Man, do I sound like a brat, or what?

Bottom line is, I will have this game. "When?" is the question.
