Grow Up

This article says Apple has removed all books published by John Wiley & Sons from Apple stores simply because Apple CEO Steve Jobs didn't authorize a biography published by John Wiley & Sons. Seems kind of silly to me. Certainly, I would agree that not selling the biography makes sense if you feel it is unfair or incorrect. But some of the other books pulled were Apple tech books that their Apple customers want. I guess this story just proves that big business is still run by people and people can let personal bias affect their decisions. Wouldn't it be nice if the heads of companies used moral principles to guide their decisions instead of petty personal ones?
